Argentina Holidays stunningly diverse & cosmopolitan

Argentina is an astonishingly diverse country, where you can enjoy tropical climate in the north of the country and later the same day find yourself in the Glacier National Park in the very south. In-between there are many other stunning areas to visit, like the city of Mendoza and its nearby wine yards. All this magnificent diversity allows Argentina to boast, quite correctly, that they have something for everyone.

During a trip to Argentina you can be inspired by the amazing Tango dancers, enjoy the colourful and stylish city - Buenos Aires and visit the most dramatic waterfalls in the world - Iguazu. The team at Worldwide Holidays use our experience and knowledge of the locations to put together an Argentinean trip that exceeds your expectations.

Exotic Landscape

Argentina's extraordinary natural wonders are largely untouched and its enormous latitude span gives it a dramatically varied landscape, from the northern tropics to the snow capped mountains and glaciers in the south. The Pampas are perhaps Argentina's best known landscape due to the legendary gauchos (cowboys) that lived and worked in this region as well as it being the most important region for the cattle industry. Argentina is an astonishingly diverse country, you can be in the north in a tropical climate and later the same day be in the Glacier National Park in the very south of the country.

Unique Wildlife

With 40 national parks and nature reserves, containing everything from waterfalls to glaciers, wildlife and bird watching in Argentina is fantastic. For many people the main draw will be towards the south of the country and to the windswept plains of Patagonia. In the east is Peninsula Valdes, which is home to a myriad of marine life including Magellanic penguins, Elephant seals and Southern right whales. Extensions to Antarctica adds a unique experience that will take you to the most remote places on earth with amazing wildlife.

Climate

As Argentina is south of the Equator, the seasons are the reverse of Europe. Buenos Aires is hot in summer (Nov - Apr) and mild in winter. The Lake District is beautiful in spring (Oct). Part of Patagonia's charm is its unpredictability, and you should be prepared for four seasons in one day. The arid north western region can be very hot during the summer (Dec - Feb), while the Mendoza province is temperate year-round. The time of year to travel will depend largely on the areas that clients prefer to include in their holiday. High season is October - March.
