New member of the team!

I have just started at Worldwide Holidays as an apprentice and Fiona has very kindly taken me under her wing to learn the ropes!

When I was younger I was always lucky enough to be taken on holiday by my parents. They took us to some great places and for me the highlight was always the excursions (jeep safari’s were always such fun!) I have some brilliant memories of exploring different resorts with my sister and two brothers-I think this is how I caught the travelling bug!

After I finished my GCSE’s I studied travel and tourism at Bournemouth and Poole College which I thoroughly enjoyed and is what led me to this job!

Fiona testing out the Arenal SkyTrek Zip Lines

September 27, 2016 Fiona | Comment (0)

I tell many of my clients about the zip wire / canopy tours that can be taken in Costa Rica. Several years ago I did the highest & longest ones at SkyTrek Arenal. It was in September, it was raining & I even went through a cloud. I was scared & cannot say I enjoyed it much.

There are 7 zip lines, I was going 60 miles per hour & the highest cable was 656 feet high.. The views of Arenal Volcano & Lake were stunning & most important I felt completely safe throughout the adventure..
