Horse riding

Costa Rica is an ideal destination for horse riding, whether it is a one off gallop along the beach or a horseback trek through the jungle and volcanoes. Stables are found in most areas and even some hotels have their own stables. We can arrange full riding itineraries, staying on an authentic working farm or simple half and full day rides.

We only ever deal with local companies who have horses that are really fit, healthy and well looked after, which is not usually a problem in Costa Rica as the welfare of all animals is of paramount importance to Tico's (Costa Ricans).
