Tropical Climate

Ecuador is considered a year round destination with conditions varying more with altitude and time of day than time of year. The most popular time of year to arrive is between June and September when conditions are drier and cooler with occasional fog.

Most visitors do not spend enough time on the mainland of Ecuador which is a shame as visiting the Amazon here, the local markets, the colonial city of Cuenca or travelling through the avenue of volcanoes on the Chiva Express are wonderful experiences.
