Tropical Climate

Sri Lanka is tropical, with distinct dry and wet seasons. The driest (and best) seasons in Sri Lanka are from December to March for the west coast, south coast and the Hill Country, and from April to September for the ancient cities region and the east coast. The higher hill country towns such as Nuwara Eliya are cooler.

Getting About

The only direct flight to Sri Lanka is with Sri Lanka Airlines who fly daily from London Heathrow into Colombo. The railways are a great way to see the country and there is also a small domestic flight network. We can arrange group or private transfers for you to anywhere in Sri Lanka.
