Enjoy this thrilling 7 day trip to Sri Lanka covering the very best golf courses in the country. Sri Lanka is relatively unknown in the field of Golf, but surprisingly the country has three of the finest 18 hole courses in Asia, with scenic backdrops of hills and lakes, which excite the senses. You will also discover the heritage and culture of this wonderful country visiting an elephant orphanage at Pinnawela along the way and tea plantations, which Sri Lanka is so well known for.
Day 1: Arrival into Colombo
On arrival into Colombo Airport you will be met and assisted, then transferred to Colombo City centre for your overnight stay at the Colombo Hilton on bed & breakfast.
Day 2: Colombo Golfing / City Tour
After breakfast, you will enjoy the morning golfing at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a city tour visiting downtown Fort, Pettah, Bazaar and drive through Wolvendhal, famous for its 17th century Dutch Church. You will also see the Hulftsfdorf Courts complex and out to Cinnamon Gardens Residential area, Independence Square, and the Town Hall. This evening you will overnight at the Hilton Colombo on bed & breakfast.
Day 3: Colombo / Pinnawela / Kandy
Leave for Kandy en route visiting the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela and the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. This afternoon you will have a Kandy sightseeing trip including visits to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, an Upper Lake Drive and witness a Cultural Dance performance. This evening you will overnight at the Earl’s Regency Hotel on bed & breakfast.
Day 4: Kandy Golfing / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast enjoy some golfing at the Victoria Golf Course. Later, leave for Nuwara Eliya. You will drive through the infamous Hill Station in Sri Lanka with English style homes and buildings. Your overnight stay will be at the Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya on bed & breakfast.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya Golfing / Colombo
This morning you will golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, followed by your transfer to Colombo. En-route visits include a Tea Factory and a Plantation. You will overnight at the Colombo Hilton on bed & breakfast.
Day 6: Colombo Golfing
Enjoy some more golfing at the Royal Colombo Golf Club followed by an afternoon at leisure for some shopping or relaxing. Overnight stay at the Colombo Hilton on bed & breakfast.
Day 7: Departure transfer to Colombo Airport
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Colombo Airport for your return flight home.
