Geoff & Cherrie have travelled the world, lived in India running their own tiger conservation projects, run charities for underprivileged third world children, written a book, taken thousands of stunning photos and are now ready to share it all with you on holiday.

In association with Worldwide Holidays, our very own Cherrie and her husband Geoff have put together this stunning ‘Grand Tour’ of northern India that encompasses myriad destinations, experiences and sights that will give those who’ve always wanted to see the real India a fascinating insight into every aspect of Indian life, colour, culture and history.

But hurry – it will only be a small group of 6-8 people who join them on this first journey of a lifetime.

 The Itinerary

JEWELS OF INDIA’, which runs for 18 days at the end of February and early March of 2015 covers numerous Indian States and many of the most notable landmarks within the northern half of India – stretching from the historic sights of Delhi, the deserts of Rajasthan at Jaipur, through the wilderness of Ranthambore jungles, the eerie ghostlike Fathepur Sikri, decaying but majestic Orcha, into the jewels of the Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh, the exquisite temples of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, the kaleidoscope of life that is Varanasi (Benares) and on to the gentility of tea sipping in Darjeeling, West Bengal, and the mayhem of Calcutta (Kolkata); with a final fascinating insight into life, trade and colour that is Bombay (Mumbai).

What you’ll experience

Almost literally – trains and boats and planes – because of the distances involved we want to make the journey enjoyable, so we’ll use internal flights for the biggest distances, trains for the intermediate ones and private vehicles for the shorter ones – but each one will add to the experience and insight into this fantastic country. You’ll even complete the full set with a boat ride on the Ganges in Varansi!

Roadway in India

You’ll experience everything from city to rural village, jungle to metropolis, desert to mountains, rivers to seas, temples to bazaars, to cultures, cuisines and religions,

What you need to do

Get in touch with Cherrie now at Worldwide and ask for a detailed itinerary that shows you every aspect of the proposed journey.

Remember there will only be 6-8 people lucky enough to travel with them this time.

What happens if I miss the boat?

Cherrie and Geoff will be organising similar journeys to India…and to Africa, in the future and of course they will organise and advise you on these countries and create your own tailor made trips without them being along that still benefit from their experience and knowledge.

So, all is not lost if you miss this trip – but wouldn’t it be good to be one of the first to benefit from this very special opportunity?

Remember – there are only 6-8 places on this introductory journey – so be quick if you want to be the first!
